TF WINCH Remote Programing
Does the red light light up when you press the buttons? If not, you may need to replace the battery in the remote.
Style 2 Remote:
Wiring Setup
- Verify the small red wire from the manual switch is connected to a "Key-On" power source.
- Ensure the vehicle is turned OFF.
- Disconnect the positive wire from the battery that goes to the winch contactor box.
Pairing the Remote
- Turn on the remote (indicator light on).
- Press & hold OUT + IN buttons.
- While holding, reconnect the positive wire from the contactor box that was disconnected earlier to the battery.
- Hold for 3–5 seconds until you hear a "click".
- Release buttons — pairing complete!

Style 1 Remote
1️⃣ Check Remote Light
- Press any button.
- No red light? ➡ Replace battery.
- Light on but winch doesn’t work? ➡ Battery may still be weak—replace it.
2️⃣ Reprogram Remote
- Turn unit ON.
- Turn remote ON (press red button).
- Hold IN + OUT together.
- Light flickers ➡ keep holding until solid.
- Release, then hold IN + OUT again until light flashes then turns off. ✅ Remote is now reprogrammed.
This should get everything back on track!
